This month is a little more relaxed with only two competitions. These might be handy for some last minute competition practice if you are attending the National Rifle Meeting at Bisley.
- Yealmpton Open Double Dewar – Held on the 7th July at Budleigh Farm.
- Bideford English Match – 60 shots at 50m for Prone and Benchrest shooters. At Bideford’s Melbury Range on the 21st July.
Of course if you don’t fancy shooting this month then there is always the Paris 2024 Olympics. There are three disciplines: rifle, pistol and shotgun, shot at distances of 10m, 25m and 50m from a kneeling, prone or standing position. So something for everyone and there will probably be a few nailbiting finishes. Check Paris 2024 Olympics website for the full shooting schedule.
