September is a busy month in the shooting calendar and will bring to a close the many outdoor competitions our county has been lucky enough to support.
- DCSRA Centenary Open – Celebrating 100 years of shooting in Devon, this weekend has a competition for every discipline. To be held on the 7th/8th September at Budleigh Farm.
- DCSRA Centenary 10m Open Air Pistol and Rifle – The celebration continues at Okehampton Smallbore Club on the 22nd Sept for 10m Air Pistol and Rifle shooters.
- Plymouth English Match – Prone and Benchrest competition at Budleigh Farm on the 22nd September.
- Rimfire Festival – A full weekend of rimfire action at Budleigh Farm on the 28th/29th September.
- Bideford Short Range Benchrest Meeting – Last but not least some Benchrest shooting on the 29th September at Bideford’s Melbury Range.
For newer Club members, this is your last chance to give outdoor shooting a try. It’s fun and very different to shooting at the Club’s indoor ranges, so why not speak with your Section Captain or another full member and give it a go.
