Performance Club Ambition

With our fantastic range, facilities and core of dedicated instructors and coaches the club is working towards accreditation as an NSRA Performance Club. This will provide many benefits for the Club and its members:

  • Allow us to provide high-quality facilities and access to qualified instructors and coaches for those members who want to improve their shooting and compete at a higher level
  • Highlight our club’s commitment to excellence in competitive shooting and athlete development
  • Affiliation with the NSRA Performance Club network will connect us with regional squads, British Shooting
  • Access applications for funding and grants, aiding in the Club’s growth and improvement
  • Attract more members and interest from external agencies, contributing to the club’s growth and success

Work on our application is progressing well with many hours invested, including specialised training for certain members to strengthen our application. With a bit of luck, the proposal will soon be submitted and we will achieve NSRA Performance Club status.

The next RCO course will be held on Saturday, 22nd February 2025. Our Club now has 81 qualified RCOs which is a tremendous number, if you don’t have your RCO qualification then book your place and help our Club become one of the safest in the country.

Finally, this weekend, we will be hosting a Prone Rifle NSRA Instructor course at the club. The course will be delivered by our coaches David Pay, Dan Truscott, Mike Taylor, and myself. The clubroom and prone range will be in use, but quiet transit through the clubroom will be possible while it’s in session.

Stay tuned for more updates and thanks for your continued support!
