About the Queen Alexandra Cup

The NSRA Queen Alexandra Cup is one of the most prestigious trophies in British small-bore rifle shooting, awarded in a highly competitive .22 prone rifle event. Organised by the National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA), the competition attracts top marksmen and women from across the UK, making it a highlight of the target shooting calendar. Named in honor of Queen Alexandra, the wife of King Edward VII, the cup has a long-standing tradition of excellence and sportsmanship in precision shooting.

With the finalists competing at the Bisley Rifle Meeting, the Queen Alexandra Cup challenges competitors at 25 yards shooting deliberate, timed and skirmisher cards, requiring exceptional accuracy, consistency, and control. Winning this event is a significant achievement in the world of small-bore shooting, cementing a shooter’s reputation at the highest level of the sport.
