The Devon Winter League is now finished and the final scores are in. All our teams did amazingly well with the A Team taking 1st place in their division, which makes them County Champions. Our B and C teams both managed to secure 2nd place, while our D and E teams performed well earning a 5th place.
Our Junior shooters continue to shine with Roxy M taking 2nd place in the junior division . Daniel M was 8th, Freddie C and Ralphie G also shot very well this season.
Mike Taylor managed the 5th highest score, followed by Robin Batten and Peter Hobbs who shot 6th and 7th highest respectively.
Okehampton Rifle Club hosted this year’s Southwest Championship. Lindsay Agates delivered an outstanding performance, securing the title of Prone Southwest Champion, in addition to winning both the Ladies and Veterans categories. Roxy M continued to impress, earning the title of Junior Champion.
In the North Devon Winter League, there are still 3 rounds to go and our B Team are currently in second place with everything to play for.
There will be a short respite before the Summer League competitions get underway so now is a great time to get some practice in.
