Sitting at my desk writing this shooting calendar update, the sun is shining and the wind is still – near perfect conditions for enjoying an outdoor match. Let’s hope this continues into April for what really is a busy start to the shooting season:
- Yealmpton Open English Match held at Budleigh Farm on the 6th April.
- Torfaen Rifle Club Open Shoot which is a great 50m prone competition shot on ISSF 60 electronic targets. Also held on the 6th April at Long Ashton.
- Steel Challenge falling plate competition on the 12th and 13th April at Budleigh Farm
- The Pinhoe Bunny Shoot for Prone, Benchrest and LSR also held at Budleigh Farm on the 13th April. Quick and easy entry with our online form
- Short Range Benchrest Open held on 27th April at Melbury Range for Benchrest 22LR and Air Rifle shooters. 40 shots at 25yds.
Once again your scores don’t matter, it is the taking part that counts so speak to your section captain if you want to have a go at some competitive shooting.
