NSRA Scorers Course

Scoring competition targets is a crucial skill, often overlooked but essential for the integrity of any competition—especially postal matches, where accuracy and consistency are paramount. Traditionally, scoring techniques have been passed down informally through clubs, counties, and regions. To ensure fairness, confidence, and uniformity in scoring, the NSRA Scorers Course was created, alongside a structured qualification system.

This Class C Scorer course is a one-day training session and provides the foundation for accurate and consistent scoring:

  • Verifying targets before scoring to ensure their legitimacy.
  • Accurate and consistent scoring using NSRA standards.
  • Correct use of gauges for precise measurement.
  • Applying penalties where necessary.
  • Recording scores correctly and managing scored cards.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a Class C Scorer Licence, certifying them as qualified club scorers.

Course Fees

The cost of this course is £25, which covers the NSRA course fee as well as a small contribution to Pinhoe TSC for hosting the course.
