About the NSRA
The National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA) is the national governing body for .22 rimfire and air rifle/pistol target shooting in Great Britain. Established in 1901, the NSRA has over 120 years of history promoting and developing precision shooting sports.
What the NSRA Does
- Rules & Standards: Maintains rules and regulations for all smallbore and air rifle/pistol disciplines in the UK.
- Competitions: Organises national championships, postal leagues, and competitions at all levels from club to international.
- Coaching & Development: Provides coaching qualifications including Club Instructor and Coach certifications.
- Club Affiliation: Affiliates and supports over 1,500 shooting clubs across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

NSRA Membership
NSRA membership provides access to competitions, coaching resources, and insurance. Most affiliated clubs (including Pinhoe TSC) include NSRA membership in their club fees.

NSRA National Shooting Centre
The NSRA operates the National Shooting Centre at Bisley Camp in Surrey, featuring world-class indoor and outdoor ranges for smallbore and air rifle/pistol shooting.
Bisley Facilities:
- Indoor Ranges: Multiple 25-yard and 25-metre ranges
- Outdoor Ranges: 50m, 100-yard facilities
- Air Rifle and Pistol Ranges: 10m indoor ranges for air rifle and pistol
- Major Events: Hosts NSRA British Championships and other national competitions
