Jersey Open Success

Members from Pinhoe Target Shooting Club competed in the Jersey open shoot at the start of October.
Eight members returned with most of the trophies and medals on offer, with Lindsay Agates winning the top X class and Dave Lemon winning A class and the overall grand aggregate. There were many other first and second places for the Pinhoe team.
Over the summer, members also attended the annual National Smallbore Championship at Bis-ley.
Members fared well, with Lindsay Agates selected to shoot for Team GB in the Randall Cup and Robert Beard selected to shoot for Wales.
Paul Newbury won a bronze medal in a benchrest event and Rob Bolton won a silver and also an engraved glass for achieving a maximum score.
Club members have won many competitions over the summer across all disciplines at national and local levels including prone rifle, benchest, light sports rifle and pistol.
