What a summer that was

Our Benchrest shooters also enjoyed the DCSRA Centenary Open and achieve some notable success with Jeff May scoring a 3rd place in A Class and Katrina Yates winning the B Class. The English Match A Class was won by Tony Godden (600/600) and Katrina also winning the B Class with a 594/600.
The Devon County Summer League concludes with Mark Lemin 3rd in Division 1 and Phil Carder 2nd in Division 2. In Division 4, Keith Langmead is also 2nd with our Junior Mati C placing 3rd. Monika Chorazak leads Division 5 with Robert Beard in 2nd place. The A Team are tied for first place with Shebbear Shooters on 102 match points.
With only one round remaining in the national competitions, our A Team are second to Budleigh Farm who lead by 18 points so it will be impossible to catch them. However, Tony Godden is second in the NSRA Individual S/R League and only two points behind the leader.
Congratulations to Keith Langmead and Rob Boulton winning Division 2 as a team pair in the Cambridgeshire postal league. Individually, Keith won his division and Rob came 2nd.
Preparations for the Winter shooting season are underway. Here’s to good shooting for the 8 members entered into the NSRA Individual competition and the 3 teams entered in the team events. The Cambridgeshire Winter League sees 12 members competing across four teams.
